The Foundation is incorporated in Singapore as a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG), under the oversight of ACRA.

Board Composition

  • Independent directors constitute no less than one-third of the board.
  • Directors serve fixed terms.
  • Governance follows the Foundation Charter.

Decision-Making

  • Matters are decided by majority vote.
  • In case of tie, the Chair holds a casting vote.
  • Structural amendments follow documented procedures.

Conflict of Interest

Directors disclose material interests and abstain from conflicted votes.

The JEP protocol specification is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0.

The JEP reference implementation is licensed under MIT and hosted on GitHub.
